The apartment
is located on the western coast of the Gulf of Thailand, approximately
six kilometres south of the seaside resort of Cha-Am and twelve
kilometres north of the main regional centre of Hua Hin.
The drive
from Bangkok International Airport takes approximately two and
a half hours and a Hua Hin taxi pick up can be organised from
Bangkok airport for approximately 1,800 Baht (35 Euros approx.)

| Apart from being an important
Royal beach resort, - the King of Thailand has a Palace here which
is his main residence, the Cha-Am/Hua Hin area is famous within
Thailand and internationally for its golf Courses.

There are seven
first class golf courses within easy reach (approx half an hour's
drive) of the apartment with green fees ranging from 800 to 2,500
Baht (15 to 45 Euros), depending on the course and day of the
week, - many more courses are available and accessible, but further
away.
There are several local companies which specialise in arranging
golf play and which will make bookings, arrange pickup and return
transportation, club hire etc etc as required. One such company

As well as daytime activities
of the beach and golf courses, the Hua Hin area is a major resort
destination with coastal National Parks and incorporates several
five star international hotels, including a Sofitel, a Marriott,
The Dusit Resort and Polo Club, a Hilton, a Hyatt Regency, plus
numerous smaller 'boutique' resorts and spas, each featuring top
quality restaurants. |

Within a few
minutes' walk of the property is a small centre with numerous
affordable restaurants offering Thai and Western food, a small
supermarket, a laundry, an internet cafe, beauty salon, souvenir
shops etc. In the town of Hua Hin there is a night market with
retail and food stalls, open every night, plus shops, bars,
music venues, restaurants, cafes etc, - the place comes alive
at night! |
