Welcome to Siam Dreams.
Hua Hin is a bustling seaside town located on the Gulf of Thailand approximately 2.5 hours drive south of Bangkok city centre and its International Airport. Hua Hin is famous for its beaches, golf and other amenities. Apart from being an important Royal beach resort, - the King of Thailand has a Palace here which is his main residence - the Hua Hin area is famous within Thailand and internationally for its golf courses.
There are seven first class golf courses within half an hour's drive with green fees ranging from 800 to 2,500 Baht (15 to 45 Euros), depending on the course and day of the week and many more courses are available and accessible but further away.
There are several local companies which specialise in arranging golf play and which will
make bookings, arrange pickup and return transportation, club hire etc as required. One such company is Hua Hin Golf Tours. All golf courses in the area are open and playable throughout the year.
As well as the daytime activities
of the beach and golf courses, the Hua Hin area is a major resort
destination with coastal National Parks and incorporates several
five star international hotels including a Sofitel, a Marriott,
The Dusit Resort and Polo Club, a Hilton, a Hyatt Regency as well as
numerous smaller 'boutique' resorts and spas, each featuring top
quality restaurants.

There are two main weather seasons in this
area of Thailand - the 'dry' season from September or October
to the end of March and the 'rainy' season for the rest of the year.
Even during the 'rainy' season the normal daily weather pattern
is for two or three hours of rain early evening or during the night,
followed by warm sunshine.
The Tourism Authority counts a 'heavy rainy day' as one with more than 35mm of rain in 24 hours and this peaks at an average of 1.7 days per month, in August.
Average daily temperatures vary from a low of 24 degrees centigrade in December to a high of 28-29 degrees in April/May.
